Polymersco Chemical Used For Sanding Washing

Sand washing application of Polymersco Chemical

Polymersco Polyacrylamide has a good flocculation effect and a good sludge dewatering effect, so it has a significant value in the sand washing and sand-making industries.

With the continuous development of the sand-making industry, washing sand with polyacrylamide can achieve the effect of recycling after the wastewater and mud are treated, which not only saves money but also increases sand-making efficiency.

How Polyacrylamide is used for sand washing

According to water quality characteristics, the sewage and mud of the sand washing field contain 15% to 30% sludge. Because this type of sewage and mud cannot precipitate naturally, a polyacrylamide flocculant must be added for flocculation and sedimentation.

In the sand washing field, sewage and sludge pass through several sedimentation tanks, and the sludge is pumped into the sludge tank by the mud pump before being treated with polyacrylamide. The sludge is dewatered following the coagulation effect of polyacrylamide. The filtered water enters the sedimentation tank for recycling after being treated by the filter press. In this process, polyacrylamide is adsorbed. Sludge dewatering can be accomplished through the use of a bridge, sedimentation, and net catching. It is typically used in front of the sedimentation tank and before entering the filter press.

Because of the characteristics of some sediment, polyacrylamide alone cannot achieve the best effect; an inorganic coagulant, such as polyaluminum chloride combined with PAM, is usually required to achieve the best effect of sludge dewatering.

Types of Polyacrylamide for sand washing

Polyacrylamide types for sewage treatment in the washing industry: Polymer flocculants are classified as anionic, cationic, or non-ionic.

The anionic type is primarily used in the treatment of domestic and production water, as well as industrial and municipal sewage. It is also suitable for red mud flocculation and sedimentation, as well as mud separation in the alumina preparation process. Because of its relatively high anionic molecular weight, it is primarily used for the precipitation of aqueous suspensions and suspensions. When organic suspensions are present in acidic or partially acidic solutions, flocculation becomes extremely difficult.

In this case, the cationic polymer flocculant can perform flocculation and sedimentation effectively, demonstrating its superior performance. The application form is 0.1-0.2 percent aqueous solution, which must be prepared with PH7 water. It is easily hydrolyzed when prepared into a dilute solution, so it should be used with the preparation or consumed on the same day, and it is difficult to store for an extended period of time.

Sand wahsing process with flocullant

1. Before using, dissolve the sand washing flocculant in water to make a 0.1 percent -0.2 percent concentration aqueous solution.

2. For dissolution, use water that is free of suspended impurities. It's best to use tap water.

3. Mechanical stirring can be used for dilution and stirring; the number of revolutions per minute is approximately 200; it can be used after stirring for 60 minutes.

The flocculant can be used to treat sewage in the sand washing industry. It is the same as sewage sedimentation when used for sludge sedimentation and dewatering. The dissolving liquid is used at a concentration of 0.1 to 0.2 percent.

After dissolving into a glue-like liquid, it is mixed into the sludge. Sand washing sewage has the following characteristics: khaki, uniform, and viscous, long-term standing without stratification, specific gravity: 11201146; mud content: 32%-79%; pH value: 68%. Experiment with qualitative sewage In a 1L beaker, add 500mL of the construction site's mud water sample, multiple types of flocculants, and the dosage is roughly controlled at the mud separation as the standard.

Examine and contrast the dehydration of the mud water (the mud water separation situation) and the mud settled in the lower layer. The degree of granularity. Then, pour the upper layer of clear water onto the ground, spread the lower layer of mud on the ground, and observe the mud's stackability.

Precautions

The flocculant dosage for sand washing wastewater treatment is determined by a small test amount.

If the dosage is too high, it will result in waste and negative effects. If the flocculant dosage is insufficient, the sand washing mud will be difficult to precipitate. As a result, in order to control the dosage properly and reasonably, you should first perform a small test to determine the dosage.

Under normal conditions, the sand washing slurry can be successfully separated from the water within a certain time period, according to this first small test and then large test.

After separation, the supernatant is kept for future use, and the sedimented sand is dewatered. A belt or plate and frame filter press is the most common type of dewatering filter press used in sand washing plants.
